Since 2007 Lawrence has worked with diverse clients in multi-discipline settings, addressing complex issues like trauma, domestic violence, and mental illness. As a senior therapist, he has also supervised and mentored other therapists. His corporate management background helps him understand the challenges faced by individuals from various walks of life.

Queer persons face ongoing stressors, often lacking familial and social support. There is a dearth of open and affirmative spaces. Even within professional settings it is not easy to find queer identified therapists or allies.
