Programme Executive (Contract Position)
The Singapore Association for Counselling (SAC) is hiring a Programme Executive (Contract Position).
The Programme Executive supports the daily operations of the Association, including administrative tasks, programmes, tech support, and special activities
Roles and Responsibilities:
• Coordinate events and activities led by the EXCO, Boards, or Sub-Committees.
• Maintain records of events and activities (e.g., financial statements, final reports).
• Review and update programme management SOPs.
• Support with advertisement processing and CPD course applications.
• Create marketing visuals for event promotion.
• Provide basic IT support for Secretariat operations.
• Update digital content (announcements, webpages) on WordPress.
• Attend meetings, prepare agendas, and take minutes.
• Assist with membership adminstration and daily operations of the Secretariat.
• Take on other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements:
• At least a Diploma in relevant fields (e.g., Social Services, Business Admin).
• Experience in project management, business development, or stakeholder management.
• Strong organisational and time-management skills.
• Able to multitask and manage tight deadlines.
• Able to work under pressure and adapt to last-minute changes.
• Good communication skills (both verbal and written).
• Team player and able to work independently.
• Able to work evenings and Saturdays, if needed.
• Proficient in MS Word, Excel, Canva, email platforms, WordPress, and basic photo/video editing.
• Social service experience is a plus.

Operations Support Assistant (Hourly)
The Singapore Association for Counselling (SAC) is building a pool of Operations Support Assistants on an hourly engagement basis to support the Secretariat’s operational needs.
This role is suitable for A-Level graduates awaiting results, Polytechnic students, retirees, or individuals seeking flexible work hour arrangements.

• Project and operational support
• Event coordination and logistics
• Website and digital content support
• General administrative duties
The role contributes to the smooth day-to-day functioning of the Secretariat and the effective coordination of its activities.
Job Requirements
• At least 17 years old
• Singapore Citizens and Singapore Permanent Residents only
• Proficient in MS Office applications, email platforms, WordPress, and Canva
• Organised and attentive to detail
• Responsible and reliable
• Able to commit for the agreed engagement period
• Available to support occasional evening or Saturday events, if required
Appointment Details
• Engagement Type: Temporary, Hourly-rated engagement
• Contract Duration: 1–3 months, with the possibility of continued engagement on an ad-hoc or project basis, subject to operational needs and mutual agreement
• Work Schedule: Engagement will be based on operational needs. A regular weekly schedule may be arranged by mutual agreement. Flexible arrangements, including half-day blocks (e.g. 9.00am–1.00pm or 1.00pm–5.00pm), may be considered where feasible.
• Hourly Rate: $11–$15 per hour, commensurate with experience, scope of responsibilities, and relevant qualifications.
