SAC offers pre-approved Continuing Professional Development (CPD) hours for third-party workshops, courses, and training sessions. We encourage professionals to continuously learn and develop their skills through ongoing training that fosters personal growth, enhances work performance and promotes good practices. Counsellors have a duty to ensure that they remain relevant and adaptable in an ever-evolving industry.

Training providers may apply for recognition of CPD hours for short courses/ workshops.


How to Apply:

To apply for pre-approval of CPD Hours, simply fill out our online application form. Once reviewed, we will notify you of the application outcome.

Name and Logo Usage Guideline
Only institutions offering SAC-recognised programmes are authorised to place the SAC logo with a statement that the programme is recognised by SAC. Upon expiry or suspension of recognition of programmes, the use of SAC logo and name must cease immediately.

Please note that the SAC logo must not be altered in any way (e.g., colour, shape, wording).

All use of SAC logo and name for the Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) of any programme or organisation is also prohibited as this may cause public misinformation,
as well as misrepresention of SAC. 

Hence it is crucial for organisations and training providers to ensure that web searches for SAC should not result in direct links to any organisations or training programmes. Any direct links may mislead the public to perceive direct connections between the organisations and SAC, or that these programmes are under the purview of SAC. 

 

Application and Payment Process:

1. Submit your application and completed artwork
2. CPD pre-approval application and marketing materials are to be submitted at least 3 months prior to commencement. 
3. Make payment upon receipt of invoice from our finance team
4. Allow 5 to 7 working days to verify your payment and to schedule your advertisement

 

Change Requisition to Your Advertisement with SAC:

We understand that sometimes tweaks are needed to get your ad just right. Here’s how you can request changes:

1. Up to 2 changes to your ad are included free of charge.
2. A $100 fee applies for each additional change beyond the initial two.
3. Small edits like fixing typos or updating dates count as changes.
4. Major changes, such as redoing the entire layout or replacing all content, may require a new booking and full charges.
5. Changes must be requested within the advertising period and before the ad is published.
6. All change requests must be submitted in writing (via email).

 

Please note: Once the email blast has been sent, no further changes can be made to the ad. Updates to the website listing may still be possible, subject to the above terms.
